New MPS provider: Hymans Robertson Investment Services

You can now research and compare Hymans Robertson Investment Services as part of your MPS due diligence in Analyser.

Parent company Hymans Robertson LLP was founded over 100 years ago in 1921 and has over £350bn in assets under influence, serving institutional clients such as major retail chains, FTSE 100 and 350 companies and large UK local authority pension schemes.

It launched its model portfolio service, Hymans Robertson Investment Services (HRIS), in December 2020. HRIS is tailored to supporting UK advice firms with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and Birmingham and business development teams nationwide.

There are two ranges available in Analyser:

  • HRIS Core Blended Portfolio Service
  • HRIS Core Markets Portfolio Service

These are available on 18 platforms.

HRIS says the scale of its parent group helps to set it apart, providing access to in-house data, forecasting technology and investment research including responsible investments.

Advice firms can access literature such as factsheets, marketing materials and investment committee reports via an online portal.

On top of the HRIS DFM fee, typical underlying ongoing charges figures range from 0.10% to 0.15% a year for the Core Markets range and from 0.20% to 0.30% a year for the Core Blended range.

HRIS typically works with firms with assets over £75m.
